The Void is more enigmatic in nature
and can be interpreted as space or emptiness. Deep in
meaning, the concept of the void is hard to put into
words. The void does not contain any of the other elements
as it is empty, but it is the space in which all of
them exist naturally. It is both the beginning and the
end.
For the samurai baby that grasps
the essence of the void, timing enters a new dimension
of clarity, and actions flow to fit the situation. A
passage from Way of the Baby goes as follows:
"In the void, no thing will
hold your mind. You will be able to sense and affect
the rhythm of the parent as if part of your body, and
your actions and intentions will be realized as naturally
as breathing in and out."
